The group meets four times a year, each time in a different library, for a business meeting and program. The meetings provide opportunities to develop and maintain resource sharing projects and enhance communication and cooperation among health sciences librarians. During the program sessions, members share information on new trends and technologies.

Eligibility

Any individual who works in a health science library or is interested in the field is welcome to join. Institutions desiring membership must meet criteria relating to collection breadth and depth, interlibrary loan cooperation and group participation. For both individuals and institutions, there are established levels of membership, depending upon qualifications.

The HealthLINE Bylaws are available for review. This document provides more detail on the organizational structure of the HealthLINE organization. The Bylaws were last revised in January 2017.
